At KRU, we never ask the Charity to write a check. We pay for all promotion and marketing costs (the cost for paid ads are deducted from the proceeds of sales). The auction houses that handle the donated vehicles deduct their fees from the proceeds of sale. And the Kars-R-Us fundraising fees are likewise deducted from sales proceeds. No upfront costs, and no out-of-pocket expenses… it’s as simple as that!
Donation calls are handled by a professional Call Center that’s available 24/7. We follow up with every donor to answer additional questions and to insure they received prompt, friendly service from the transport company assigned to pick up their vehicle.
